For too many people, God seems like some sort of cosmic killjoy who does little except sit in heaven and impose tough standards for everyone to live up to. This God seems to really have it in for us. The problem is that this isn't the God of the Bible. For those who are followers of Christ, God isn't out to get you, He is working for your good! Find out more as the Pastor shares a series of messages from Romans 8, "God Is On Your Side." |

We are again offering a ladies’ study that will be offered on Wednesday mornings and on Wednesday nights as part of The Lift. The semester will be comprised of a study of two Kay Arthur books, Live Like You Belong to God and Living Victoriously in Difficult Times. Each study will last for 6 weeks. Darnell Bullins will be the facilitator on Wednesday mornings and Janice McMinn will be leading the Wednesday night study. Though these studies require a workbook, there is no homework! These studies will help you live a life that is pleasing to God and learn from the Bible how to find joy in life’s most challenging times. The cost is $12 for materials.

Miguel Viera will be leading a study of John MacArthur’s book Twelve Ordinary Men. In this study, you will see how Jesus shaped His disciples for greatness and how He wants to both shape and work through you. You do not have to have a copy of the book for this study, however, if you want we can order you one for $12.

Elijah was an ordinary man who God transformed into His personal spokesman to confront evil and idolatry in the ancient world. It’s a life worth emulating. This world is in need of Elijah-like men and women who are not afraid to live courageously in front of their peers. That is why the Pastor is leading a study of Charles Swindoll’s book Elijah.
