Prayer Room Ministry

We dedicated the prayer room to the Lord on February 9, 2004. Several women in the church had been praying for a Prayer Room Ministry over a 4-5 year period. Then, the Revisioning Team surfaced it as a top 10 "to do" on the 10 year wish list. The Revisioning Team discussed it in the winter (Jan-Feb 2003). Through fervent prayers by GCBC members - the dream became reality on March 7, 2004 with our first day of ministry.

Pam Chambers and husband Stan Chambers provide the leadership for the Prayer Room Ministry through intercessory prayer for local, national, and international mission needs and for salvation and spiritual growth. As a team, Pam is the coordinator and Stan is supporter in this ministry and a blessed help especially in facility upkeep.

God used men and women in the church and community to bring about a holy and reverent prayer room for prayer ministry.
