Is Jesus Christ the answer to your questions?

There are no magic words that can save your soul from being condemned by a holy and just God; the only way to be saved is through Jesus Christ. Here is the salvation plan in a nutshell.

1.You must realize that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:23 - “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

2.You must realize that sin must be judged.

Romans 6:23 - “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

3.You must realize that Jesus paid the price for all sin.

Romans 5:8 - “God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were yet still sinners, Christ died for us.”

4.You must believe that Jesus Christ can save you from judgment.

Romans 10:9 - “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

5.You must pray to Jesus and ask Him to save you.

Romans 10:13 - “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

You can pray a prayer from your heart to be saved, or you can pray like the following prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I am sorry for my sins. I know that my sin is the reason you went to the cross, and I ask that you would forgive me of my sin. Lord, I believe in you and I want to commit my life to you now. Thank you so much for dying on the cross for me. In your name I pray, amen.

If you truly believe that Jesus died on the cross to save your sins, and that through belief in Him you can be saved, you are now a Christian. Welcome to God’s family! Frequently asked Questions about Salvation

What is sin? Sin is the wrong things that we do in our lives. It may be as small as stealing a nickel or telling a white lie, but it can also be as large as murdering someone or cheating on your spouse.

Why must we be judged? God is holy and just; He is without sin. Sin cannot even be in God’s presence! In order to deal with sin, God must judge it.

How did Jesus “pay the price” for sin? Before Jesus, sin had to be “paid for” by sacrificing an acceptable animal to God. God then sent his son, Jesus, to the earth to be our sacrifice for sins. God loved us so much that He sent His only son to die upon a cross as a sacrifice for our sins. In this way, Jesus paid the price of sin.

What should I believe about Jesus? You must believe that Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for your sin. He then, on the third day, rose from the grave to not only conquer sin but death.

How is Jesus saving me? By putting belief in Jesus and committing your life to him, you are inviting Jesus to come into your heart and cleanse you from sin. By putting your belief in Jesus, you are being made holy so that you can be in the presence of a holy, just God. This also allows you to spend eternity with Him in Heaven after your physical death on earth.

What is prayer? Prayer is the way that Christians speak to God. It can be done within or spoken out loud. It is most often done by closing your eyes and thinking on God while you speak to Him.
