WOMEN’S MINISTRIES
The women of
Gate City Baptist Church aspire to be obedient to the spiritual
mandate of Colossians 2:2-3, growing firm in our faith in Christ. It
is the desire of this ministry to teach, equip, and encourage women
to find and accomplish the will of God for their lives. Our purpose
is to minister to the needs of women from all ages and stages of
life. Programs for this ministry include: Bible Study Groups, Prayer
Groups, Holiday Hospitality Dinner, Annual Mother/Daughter, Friend
Banquet, and Outreach Basket Ministry.
We have many exciting opportunities for women. We commit to
challenge and inspire women in their spiritual walk. No matter what
your “Season of Life”, you will be blessed by the sweet fellowship
through Women’s Ministry.
Our Mission Verse: "My
purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love,
so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding in
order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom
are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." Colossians
2:2-3
Our Mission Statement: The
purpose of Women's Ministry of Gate City Baptist Church is to
provide women with opportunities for fellowship, friendship,
spiritual growth, and encouragement that will enable them to become
actively involved in ministry and sharing the Gospel, thereby
enhancing the overall ministry of the church.
