Howard
Chandler is the Worship Leader for GC's
Traditional/Southern Gospel Worship Service Celebration. When GCBC
launched both a Traditional/Southern Gospel Worship service and a
Contemporary Praise & Worship service in the Spring of 2004, Howard
joined the ministry team on April 5, 2004.
Howard graduated from Southeast Guilford High School and attended
Tennessee Temple Christian College where he studied music. Howard is a
veteran of the U.S. Army. Howard has worked for the past 16 + years as
an independent sales representative for a church manufacturer.
Howard brings a unique and genuine energy to GCBC's
Traditional/Southern Gospel Worship style. He has been singing
Southern Gospel Music for over 25 years and most recently, Howard sang
tenor for 7 years with The Harvesters Quartet.
Howard and his wife Melanie live in Brown Summit. Howard has two grown
sons, Mark and Jeff, and he is a proud grandfather of four
grandchildren.
Howard's desire is to see people blessed and become believers in Jesus
Christ. Howard's voice, heart, and passion for the Lord give him a
special platform to present the salvation message through the medium
of music.
