It is my pleasure to introduce you to Gate City Baptist Church. I came
here as pastor in February 1993, and have found this church to be a
tremendous opportunity for ministry and growth. Gate City is a warm,
friendly church that has a passion for God and a heartfelt desire to
reach people.
Demographic studies reveal that 99,000 people live within a five-mile
radius of Gate City Baptist Church. I believe God has given our church
a divine mandate to reach these people with the good news of the
gospel. On this web site you will find some of the ways in which we
are endeavoring to do that.
As you look over the various programs and ministries of Gate City
Baptist Church, I encourage you to ask yourself two questions: First,
“How can this church minister to me?” and second, “How can I minister
