Steve has been serving at
Gate City since 1995. Steve and his wife, Pattie, are the parents of
three daughters, Hannah, Leah and Micah. After seven years of ministry
with our Students and Children, Steve assumed the position of
Associate Pastor in early 2003. His primary responsibilities include
Assimilation and Mobilization, or as Steve affectionately says,
“Minister of Coming & Going!” With a passion for the world, he
believes people can experience connection to the body of Christ as
they serve Him through both ministry and mission. Both Steve and
Pattie are graduates of Appalachian State University, from which Steve
also received his Master’s degree. The Turner’s are also die-hard Andy
Griffith Show/Mayberry fans!
